I was lucky enough to be invited to attend the AIDS candlelight Memorial, where we paid our respects and love for the people who fought AIDS not only for themselves but for others as well! 30 years ago, when AIDS became one of the world’s worst fear, the AIDS candlelight memorial was founded not only to bring hope but also to bring people together to fight this deathly disease! I myself don’t know anyone who has AIDS or HIV! But my heart goes out to them! I think that they are brave! They have the courage to fight this disease and continue to contribute to this world! They simply don’t give up! If I can meet one of you in real life I will give you a big hug and maybe tear up a bit! Yes AIDS is scary! But we can not let our people being isolated because of it! We need to come together and fight it! I love the atmosphere today at the memorial it was full of light and laughter because it was not an event to cry or to be depresses about this disease but an celebration of our 30 years of constant battling with it!
